(I’m skipping ahead a day, because day 12 requires me to take a picture of the interior of my house. It’s too dark to take a picture because our lighting situation is tragic and I’m dealing with a camera phone, here. Apologies.)
Do you have yarn that you love but can’t find a project for?
Yes. Okay, there are several things that I have and love, like Kraemer Yarns’ Sterling Silk & Silver in White Veil
and Malabrigo Merino Worsted in Persia
and bits and pieces of handspun that I would just love to use, but…as what?
Something full of silver needs to be special, right? I have four or five cakes of it, too; plenty for a lovely big shawl, but what? Probably something I’ve seen, but have yet to purchase the pattern for. I’m wretched about being willing to pay for a pattern not in a book, partly because I’ve had terrible experiences with PayPal and no longer have an account, and partly because I’m one heck of a procrastinator who fully intends to buy patterns…later.
The Malabrigo is just waiting for that perfect wonderful thing that I don’t know what it is yet. The handspun…well. Something that requires very little yardage, I suppose.
