I’m going to mash these last two together, as they were both shorts. For the last two bonus books, I read A Bloody Storm and A Raging Storm, by Richard Castle. These are from his Derrick Storm series; or at least, from the character on ABC’s crime drama, Castle. Each short story was in the neighborhood of 80 pages, and priced accordingly.

So, potato chip books, anyone? These are all pretty much a weak three out of five, not quite as memorable as the Nikki Heat book, and suffering badly from an excess of brevity. It makes me wonder if three different ghost writers were employed for each of the Derek Storm short stories.

If you’re a fan of the show Castle, you could pick them up and have a decent read-through. Otherwise, I probably wouldn’t bother.
