52 in 1: Pale Demon

No biggie, just hanging out doing magic in my skintight white leather minidress. Like ya do.

For week 20, I read Pale Demon by Kim Harrison. This is book 9 in The Hollows series, and it happens to be one I managed to get signed by Harrison when I was living in Cincinnati. I’m still not sure why it took so long for me to actually read the book.

Here’s the trouble with reviewing these books that are late in the series; I’m so invested in the series that it’s hard for me to be objective about the book. Perhaps that’s a good sign that the quality of the writing has not deteriorated? I can’t tell.

So….I enjoyed it? I mean, yes, of course I did, but if I hadn’t, I would have continued to read it anyway. Analysis: Harrison is not, at this juncture, becoming L.K. Hamilton. Hooray!
